Our vision is to be the bridge between exceptional outdoor brands and the retailers who bring them to life — not simply to drive sales, but to connect consumers with the right gear for their true needs. We live and breathe the outdoors: from beaches to high alpine, from desert spires to evergreen forests. We curate brands and products that fit every outdoor life — the peak-bagger chasing summits, the person savoring coffee by a fire in Mammoth Village, the friends sharing a local brew at sunset on Joshua Tree after finally sending that long-held crux. We exist so every customer finds gear that amplifies their experience.
Sean Kievning - Founder & Principal
With over 20 years in the outdoor industry, Sean Kievning brings a deep, hands-on understanding of gear, retail, and brand building. His background includes more than a decade in specialty retail, along with extensive experience in sales, brand management, and product testing across a wide range of outdoor categories. Beyond his professional work, Sean is an avid skier, snowboarder, mountain biker, trail runner, ultra runner, climber, and thru-hiker—giving him a true, real-world perspective on the products and brands he represents. He has worked closely with both emerging and established companies, helping them grow through strategic partnerships and authentic connections within the outdoor community. Based in the Reno/Tahoe region, Sean combines his industry expertise and lifelong passion for the outdoors to support retailers, brands, and the people who live for time outside.
Kari Brandt - Product Tester & Tech Rep
Kari is a 4-season multi-sport above average athlete who resides in Truckee, CA. Her ideal day is a long day of moving efficiently through the mountains, preferably in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. Running (both trail and road), skiing and snowblading are her most efficient forms of mountain movement, but she also bikes (both mountain and gravel), backpacks, swims, hangs out with her husband and dogs, trudges and eats snacks. Professionally she is a ski patrol director and health and safety manager and leads two non-profits in the ski industry, Women of Patrol and the Sierra Nevada Resiliency Team. Through her personal and professional endeavors she puts gear and equipment to the test of endurance in the mountains.
Matt Borello - Product Tester & Tech Rep
I’m a father of ONE with a wonderful fiancé residing in the beautiful Marin county, California. By day, I am a project manager in the commercial restaurant industry in the greater Bay Area by night in my true passion is the love for the outdoors with a minor BA in Trial running(ultra trail running) over the last 10 years, Body-Boarding Ocean Beach in San Francisco, CA since the age of 6 and a passion for outdoor photography. My favorite run Kent Pipe Trail, Mt. Tamalpais in the Marin watershed, favorite beach break Kelly’s Cove, Ocean Beach, SF. Favorite place, Polihale Beach KI. My spare time in the summer it’s been trying to get to Lake Tahoe, CA to run the TRT with good friends
